There really is hope. I've been having a hard time these days and it
feels so great to smile. This election means so much to so many
people; people who aren't even here yet. Many generations from now
will wonder how we ever elected George W. and why we elected 43 white
guys before him. The face of America is changing or at least that
face is finally being represented.

Now that it is over, I will stand behind him. (unlike someone I know who would not do the same if the election had turned out differently). Four years from now will tell the tale.
Mom, you are totally right. I really would have moved away. Sarah Palin is an absolute idiot.
