I've been meaning to make a little set up for taking pictures for my drawings, but that is just another thing on my project to do list. It seems that it's always dark outside when I'm wanting to take a picture of something and the lighting in my little room is terrible. I gave up on trying to get a good picture of this drawing and decided to show you the pitiful expression that inspired it instead. It sums up my feelings about today pretty well. I did manage to get an okay close up but the coloring is off and there's a glare. I do love using my brush pens though.
One of my goals for the year was to make 100 4x6 drawings/paintings. This is #20. The year is slipping away from me! I did not plan very well. I need to make two a week in order to meet my goal. I need my four blog readers to hold me to that.

Hey,
I just stumbled upon your blog and got a little drawn in - I had to start at the beginning to appreciate what you've been doing. Anyway, I often read tech blogs and they talk about using homemade lightboxes to take pictures of gadgets and whatnot, I thought the same principles might apply to taking pictures of artwork. Check out this site: http://www.studiolighting.net/homemade-light-box-for-product-photography/
It might help.
Have a good one,
Chester
