My First Dye Job!

I was having trouble finding solid colored onesies so I decided to dye my own. It was pretty easy and they turned out perfect! Now it's time to embroider.

A Day Off!

Today has been great! I woke up early because my internal clock still thinks I need to wake up at 7:30 even when I don't have to work which gave me time to garden, shop, and hang out with Ben in the studio for a while.

My Etsy Store Is Alive!

I just added some buttons to my newly reactivated Etsy account. I've never really put a lot of effort into my Etsy store before but I'm going to give it a shot again. I've been playing around with packaging for the buttons, it's a work in progress. I'm OBSESSED with making buttons. Anyone out there needing buttons?

I went to see Geoffrey Canada speak at the University of Dayton tonight. He is the CEO for the Harlem Children's Zone and author of a few books on my reading list. If everyone in this room would go out and try to impact their community the way that he has, we would have a different world. I feel like I have a lot of work to do.

In Honor of MLK Day

This record is out of order from the project that I started late year with the goal of listening to our entire record collection. It's my favorite album that I own and the first song is heartbreakingly good called Why? The King of Live is Dead. Get it, listen to it.
