She randomly took the stage at this bar we were drinking. Shocked and thinking about driving through Georgia wondering what I could listen to that my mom wouldn't hate so I Gillian on and mom sang along and it's one of my favorite memories ever despite the fact that we were driving to my grandmothers funeral. Also, I want a denim jump suit.

The Middle East

The Middle East are playing with Bad Veins for the first part of the Frightened Rabbit tour. I love sound checks. They are like little private shows.

Small Things = Cute

I can't seem to fall asleep tonight so I thought I would write about The World's Smallest Postal Service which I discovered while I was in San Francisco last month. You write your message and she transfers it into her tiny handwriting on a tiny piece of paper. The letters are mailed with a magnifying glass to the recipient. I think it's the cutest thing ever! Technology has changed communication so much in the last few years that a letter, much less a tiny letter, is such a personal way to communicate.

Headed For Home

I started the trip off with Regina Spektor and then moved on to
Leonard Cohen, LCD Soundsystem, and I'm wrapping it up with the new
Phoenix record. Pretty good.
